REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (MOES-C3-05-SUP-IC-11 - Specialist in Ukraine's Integration into OECD Membership (Science Sector)) Market Approach - Open National UKRAINE Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project Loan Agreement No. 9238-UA Assignment Title: Specialist in Ukraine's Integration into OECD Membership (Science Sector) Reference No. MOES-C3-05-SUP-IC-11 The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MOES) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project (hereinafter referred to as Project) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Project aims to increase efficiency and improve conditions to ensure quality and transparency in the higher education system of Ukraine. This assignment aims to assist the MoESin in harmonizing national legislation in the fields of science, research, and innovation with the legal frameworks of the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), as well as implementing international research safety standards. The goal of this activity is to enhance the international competitiveness of Ukrainian science in higher education institutions and research organizations. The Consultant will be contracted through competitive selection in line with World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Sep 2023. MOES now invites qualified interested persons to submit their expression of interest in Ukrainian and English as provided in the Terms of reference.
