REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (LEARN-IC-NIO-4.3 - Learning Environment Manager 2 (basic secondary school)) Market Approach - Open, National UKRAINE Lifting Education Access and Resilience in Times of Need in Ukraine Program Grant No. TF0C5794 Assignment Title: Learning Environment Manager 2 (basic secondary school) Reference No. LEARN-IC-NIO-4.3 Ukraine and World bank have signed the agreements for the Program "Lifting Education Access and Resilience in times of Need in Ukraine Program" (hereinafter referred to as the LEARN or Operation). LEARN was developed to address critical challenges and provide essential support to the education sector, aligning with the Ministry of Education and Science's (MoES) Strategic Action Plan. The objectives of the Operation are to (i) improve teaching and learning conditions; and (ii) strengthen management capacity of the education system. The Learning Environment Manager 2 is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and monitoring of modern, safe, inclusive, and accessible learning environments for basic secondary education (grades 5-9). The Consultant will coordinate with local authorities and other stakeholders on infrastructure planning and renovation efforts and will provide expert support in analyzing and implementing inclusive infrastructure policies in line with the principles of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) reform. The Consultant will be contracted through competitive selection in line with Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Feb 2025.
